Petals Room @ Off Chan Sow Lin Road

Petals & pasta: This cafe manages to maintain a rather rosy outlook on life, despite being hidden on a witheringly dreary road with hardware factories for neighbours. Budget-conscious seafood or vegetarian spaghetti blooms brightest on the menu - with mussels & squid in a sweet, creamy sauce for RM17, or with mushrooms, green peppers, eggplant & garlic for RM14. TWG's Eternal Summer tea is the perfect partner for the flower-powered setting.

  1. Fresh cut flowers? Wowwwww!!!! Not keen on those red couches though, some rattan chairs would match the flowers better.

    1. Suituapui: rattan would definitely add a more naturalistic look, ya! ;)

  2. This cafe seems like a supporting cast to its main business of selling plants and flowers...offering shoppers a quick respite. The flower wall and decor looks real enough...heheh! ;)

    1. Contact.ewew: yeah, I like the idea of businesses utilising their space to create f&b spin-offs - as long as it's equally well-executed! ;)

  6. Ah.. a most welcoming respite for the dearth of dirty workshops and offices in that area! Southgate was my only option for a decent hangout place whenever im in this part of town lol
Now this rosy cafe looks promising. the pasta is overcooked for sure, but I'll overlook that for the price :P
